Electrical Engineer - Entry Level

Tetra Tech is an engineering and consulting company focused on water, environment, energy, and sustainable infrastructure. The Entry Level Electrical Engineer will provide electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering design support for pipeline, pump/compressor station, and terminal/tank projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams under the supervision of a lead Electrical Engineer.

What you'll do:

• Arc Flash Study and software modeling
• Assist in design and design drawing production, including:
• P&IDs
• One Lines
• Panel Schedules
• Loop Diagrams
• Cable & Conduit Schedules
• PLC Schematics
• Communication Equipment Schematics
• Area Classification Drawings
• Construction Site Plans
• Grounding Drawings

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 0 - 5 years of previous experience
• Must be able to communicate with peers, contractors, and clients clearly and efficiently
• Troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Must be a self-starter capable of handling solo projects as well as working with a group, eager to learn and expand your skillset, and be detail oriented
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions
• Passed FE Exam
• AutoCAD or Revit familiarity/experience
• Knowledge of NEC codes
