Electrical Engineer I - FPGA Designer

Radiation Test Solutions (RTS) is seeking an early-career FPGA Design Engineer to develop and verify FPGA-based systems for aerospace, defense, and advanced electronics applications. The role supports design, simulation, hardware integration, testing, and collaboration on high-reliability electronic systems.

What you'll do:

• Develop FPGA designs using VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
• Create simulation environments, testbenches, and verification plans
• Perform timing analysis, resource optimization, and design closure activities
• Interface with embedded processors, high-speed serial links, memory devices, communication protocols, and mixed-signal systems
• Support board bring-up, debugging, and laboratory validation activities
• Participate in customer technical reviews
• Coordinate with FPGA manufacturers and development partners
• Collaborate with RTS radiation effects engineers during test planning and data interpretation
