Electrical Engineer in Training I

EwingCole is a nationally recognized architecture, engineering, interior design and planning firm with offices across the country. They are seeking an Electrical Engineer in Training I to join their Irvine office, where the role involves working with Project Engineers on design and documentation tasks while gaining experience toward obtaining a Professional Engineer license.

What you'll do:

• Document project design utilizing CAD and BIM
• Confer with project team members and other engineering personnel and prepares design modifications as required
• Perform construction administration tasks (site visits, submittal reviews, RFI’s, field changes)
• Perform code research and establish project design criteria
• Attend seminars and continuing education programs. Participate in design, analysis and documentation training as listed in the Discipline Training Guidelines
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or in Architectural Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering
• E.I.T. (or qualified to sit for E.I.T.)
• 0 to 3 years of experience
• Strong drafting documentation knowledge and company design standards
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit software
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic computer analysis skills
