Electrical Engineer Intern

Emanuelson-Podas is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support electrical systems design, documentation, and coordination across a variety of projects. The role provides hands-on experience with engineering analysis, drafting, technical documentation, and project support from concept through construction.

What you'll do:

• Participate in the electrical design process, preparing accurate and thorough drawings and details
• Assist in development of designs from concept through completion of construction
• Prepare engineering design calculations and assist with technical analysis
• Conduct research on new technologies and applicable code requirements
• Assist in writing engineering reports and documentation
• Follow EP drafting standards and maintain consistent sheet and background setup
• Support preparation of construction documents with a high level of accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate effectively with internal staff and other design professionals
• Meet assigned project deadlines (occasional overtime may be required)
• Use tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam COMcheck, AGI 32, and SKM Power Tools
• Maintain reliable and consistent work hours and professional appearance
• Stay focused on tasks, meet deadlines, and manage own calendar

What they're looking for:

• Authorization to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship available
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Sophomore or Junior standing
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
