The company is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support electrical systems, process reliability, automation, and operational performance initiatives in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. The role involves troubleshooting systems, analyzing equipment data, and collaborating on safety, maintenance, and engineering projects.
What you'll do:
- Assist with troubleshooting and improving electrical and control systems throughout the plant
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify reliability and efficiency opportunities
- Support automation, instrumentation, and process control improvement initiatives
- Participate in safety, maintenance, and engineering projects that drive operational excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement practical engineering solutions
What they're looking for:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Ability to apply electrical engineering principles to solve technical and operational challenges
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and learning in an industrial environment
