Electrical Engineer Intern

Klein Tools designs and launches innovative products with a focus on quality, ownership, urgency, and teamwork. The Electrical Engineer Intern will support the electrical engineering team through product testing, validation, documentation, prototype development, and analysis to recommend product improvements.

What you'll do:

• Assist with electrical testing and validation of products
• Compile test results into a comprehensive test report
• Analyze test results to recommend improvements
• Design and build prototypes and test fixtures to make recommendations for product improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned within then nature and level of work

What they're looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program to be considered
• Basic knowledge of computers and the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate with all levels of the organization
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to prioritize projects and tasks in a fast‐paced environment
• Must have excellent follow-up skills
• Must be organized and detail‐oriented in order to be successful
