Electrical Engineer Intern

Novelis is a sustainable aluminum solutions provider specializing in aluminum recycling and rolling. The Electrical Engineer Intern will support special projects, conduct research, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with engineers on cost-saving initiatives while gaining hands-on manufacturing experience.

What you'll do:

• Report out on projects to engineering team
• Responsible for seeking out data and do research to complete your project
• Investigate areas where improvements can be made
• Work with full-time engineers to analyze and brainstorm potential cost saving projects

What they're looking for:

• · Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University
• · Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate
• · Interested in gaining hands-on industry experience prior to graduation
• · Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
• · Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
• · Prefer students majoring in Electrical Engineering
• · Solid business insight
• · High interest in becoming an engineering leader in a manufacturing environment
• · Strong leadership and teamwork skills
