Electrical Engineer-Intern

Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP is an engineering and design firm focused on infrastructure and building projects. The Electrical Engineer Intern will support the design of electrical systems for government, military, commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional facilities under the supervision of senior staff. The role involves preparing engineering deliverables and coordinating designs with architects and other engineers.

What you'll do:

• The Electrical Engineer will assist in the creation of engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, and calculations, while following WRA’s engineering guidance, schedule, budget, and quality requirements. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with design team members – including architects and other engineers – to produce a coordinated design

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments
• US Citizenship required
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
