Electrical Engineer Intern - Life Sciences

GBA is an engineering firm focused on innovative, integrated design and construction solutions. The Electrical Engineering Intern will support the Life Sciences Group by preparing construction documents, reviewing shop drawings, verifying permitting and code requirements, conducting facility evaluations and engineering studies, and assisting with troubleshooting and commissioning.

What you'll do:

• Preparing construction documents for various systems
• Review of shop drawings and RFI’s
• Verification of permitting and code requirements
• Facility evaluations and engineering studies
• Trouble shooting and commissioning
• Other fun duties as assigned!

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering or other related field from accredited program
• Finished at least two years of school
• Involved in campus, community, and other volunteer activities and/ or organization
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel software is preferred
• 2.7 GPA strongly preferred
• Prior Internship is and/or related experience is a plus
