Electrical Engineer Intern - Mission Critical

GBA is seeking engineering students to join its Buildings Group as Electrical Engineer Interns supporting Mission Critical projects. The role focuses on designing mechanical and electrical systems for data centers, telecommunications, and industrial facilities, including document preparation, drawing reviews, code verification, facility evaluations, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

What you'll do:

• Preparing construction documents for various systems
• Review of shop drawings and RFI’s
• Verification of permitting and code requirements
• Facility evaluations and engineering studies
• Trouble shooting and commissioning
• Other fun duties as assigned!

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or other related field from accredited program
• Finished at least two years of school
• Involved in campus, community, and other volunteer activities and/ or organization
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Active involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel software is preferred
• 2.7 GPA strongly preferred
• Prior Internship is and/or related experience is a plus
