Electrical Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)

Dyno Nobel is a global commercial explosives and blasting technology company serving the mining, quarry, construction, and seismic industries. The Electrical Engineering Intern will assist with electrical control and power system effectiveness, plant operations, sustainability initiatives, equipment investigations, maintenance planning, engineering documentation, and production equipment improvements.

What you'll do:

• Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
• Complete equipment failure investigations using root cause analysis techniques
• Work closely with Maintenance Planners to ensure preventive & predictive maintenance
• Assist the management of the plant’s engineering documentation
• Assist in the development of ideas and opportunities to improve plant production equipment health and performance
• Organize, update, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and analytical equipment maintenance PM and repair documentation
