Electrical Engineer Intern (Summer of 2027)

General Dynamics Mission Systems develops advanced defense platforms and systems that support national security missions. The Electrical Engineer Intern will apply classroom-learned engineering skills to technical projects, collaborate with engineering teams, and develop practical solutions for defense-related programs.

What you'll do:

• Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country
• The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission

What they're looking for:

• Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology
• Electrical Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Electrical Engineering discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher
• Department of Defense secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
• • Clear understanding of engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
• • Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity

• This position is 100% on-site and you will be part of the McLeansville, NC facility
