Electrical Engineer Internship Summer 2027 - San Francisco, CA

PAE is an engineering and design firm focused on creating resilient, efficient, and sustainable buildings and communities. The Electrical Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience in sustainable engineering design, supporting electrical calculations, renewable energy systems, CAD and Revit design, specifications, site observations, cost estimates, and project coordination.

What you'll do:

• Electrical Load Calculations/Block Loads
• EZ Power Crash Course
• Schematic Design Narratives
• NEC Review
• Renewable Energies
• Research PV, Wind, Fuel Cell technologies
• Layout/design/calculations of PV System
• Emerging Technologies (BIPV, level III car charge, CIGS PV, etc.)
• CAD and Revit
• General project timeline/overview
• Specifications
• Site Visits/Site Observation Reports

• Desire to work in the Building Design industry

• Effective communicator
• 3rd year undergraduate student preferred
