Electrical Engineer Summer Intern

Syska Hennessy Group is a global consulting, engineering, and commissioning services firm specializing in MEP and related building systems. The Electrical Engineering Summer Intern will support engineering teams by preparing design documentation and drawings, assisting with electrical design calculations, participating in field investigations and construction site visits, and attending intern education sessions.

What you'll do:

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions

What they're looking for:

• Pursing a bachelor's Degree from accredited university in Electrical engineering and Architectural Engineering
• Must be at a minimum, completed your second year
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus
• Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus
