Electrical Engineering Associate I

CEMS Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering New Graduate to support building sciences projects involving power distribution, lighting, motors, transformers, and telecommunications. The role assists senior engineers with electrical design, prepares plans and specifications, and reviews calculations and drawings.

What you'll do:

• Assist senior engineers with routine design
• Prepare Electrical plans and specifications
• Review calculations and drawings
• Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor

• A sound technical foundation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• BS in Electrical Engineering
• Successfully completed coursework addressing Basic Circuits
• Must be able to coordinate with other engineering teams/disciplines within the firm
• Ability to work independently in a team environment and effectively manage time
• Must be able to work and effectively coordinate with staff in multiple office locations
• Effective time-management, written communication skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, decision making capabilities, problem resolution skills, and a sense of initiative
• Ability to work in a team environment
