Electrical Engineering Intern

Hemlock Semiconductor is a global provider of hyper pure polysilicon used in the semiconductor and solar industries. The Electrical Engineering Intern will complete challenging summer projects at the manufacturing facility, supporting improvements in safety, quality, productivity, sustainability, and cost across reliability, process, or project engineering areas.

What you'll do:

• Reliability Engineering Intern – Assist Reliability engineers with supporting our manufacturing teams by executing projects that increase process reliability and online time
• Process Engineering Intern – Assist Process Engineers with developing new technology and providing support to manufacturing to solve problems and implement improvements
• Project Engineering Intern - Assist Project engineers with supporting our manufacturing teams by executing projects that increase process capacity, capability, safety and efficiency

What they're looking for:

• • High School Diploma
• • The candidate must attend a 4-year university and pursue a certificate or degree in a similar field of study
• • Minimum cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scale
• • Must be full-time student (12 or more credits) during fall and winter semesters
• • The candidate must be able to work full time during the duration of the summer internship
• • The candidate must be within driving distance to the site and have reliable transportation
• • Preferred Field of Study: Electrical Engineering
• • Intern/Co-op experience in relative field of study
