About this role
Martin's Famous Potato Rolls and Bread is a multi-facility company producing bakery products with machines for domestic and international distribution. The Electrical Engineering Intern will provide electrical support to the Engineering Department, participate in continuous improvement and project work, analyze problems and data, and assist with engineering designs and documentation.
What you'll do:
- Think logically and reasonably to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts and principles
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data
- Research solutions to project concerns, analyze and recommend solutions to problems
- Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned
- Understand department needs and seek clarification when needed
- Work with AutoCAD program
- Compose Engineering documents regarding design and layouts
- Take Measurements and create designs
- Adheres to and enforces safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations
- Reports food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
