Electrical Engineering Intern

MKEC Engineering, Inc. provides engineering solutions for its clients and is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for its Industrial/Energy team. The intern will support the design of industrial and energy projects, learn industry-specific software and the full design process, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and help meet client expectations and schedules.

What you'll do:

• Gain diverse experience by working on a variety of real-world projects
• Learn and use industry-specific design software
• Work directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers
• Learn the full design process from start to finish
• Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules

What they're looking for:

• Actively pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong desire to be part of a team-oriented culture
• Positive attitude, strong enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Exposure to or awareness of industry-specific software (AutoCAD) is preferred
