Electrical Engineering Intern

MSA Professional Services is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for its Buildings Service Line. The role provides hands-on exposure to electrical building systems and involves electrical engineering design, field observation, surveying, document production, and preparation of bidding and construction plans.

What you'll do:

• Electrical (Power Systems and Lighting) engineering responsibilities will include design, field observation, and survey activities as well as document production Revit (BIM, building information modeling)
• Heavy emphasis placed on developing detailed bidding and construction plans for Electrical Contractors use during construction

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 2.75 GPA required
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering or related degree required
• A valid driver's license required
• Revit and Auto CAD coursework and/or experience would be a plus
• A desire to learn more about the design, construction, and operation of of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in a variety of builing types as part of the consulting engineering industry
• This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position
• Previous related engineering intern or co-op experience preferred
• Prior experience in the electrical construction field preferred
