Electrical Engineering Intern

NCS Engineers, LLC is an engineering design firm focused on water, wastewater, and electrical engineering services. The company is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support water/wastewater projects and perform routine electrical engineering tasks under the supervision of a senior engineer while developing entry-level engineering skills.

What you'll do:

• Provides general support to the engineering department as defined by supervisor
• Identifies potential areas of product improvement; recommends and assists with the development of appropriate solutions
• Assists one or more senior electrical engineers on projects
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift, up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to travel to various job sites and traverse locations to obtain necessary data

What they're looking for:

• Junior or Senior in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree program
• No experience required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including detailed report preparation
• Excellent computer, math, and English skills
• Ability to drive to work
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift, up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to travel to various job sites and traverse locations to obtain necessary data
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Working knowledge ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or Easy Power
