Electrical Engineering Intern

TCOM, L.P. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support product development and engineering projects. The intern will learn and apply the product development process, document design and testing, assist internal teams and customers, and complete a summer-end presentation.

What you'll do:

• Learn the product development process and apply design efforts on your own project
• Document design and testing as appropriate on each phase of the project
• Provide engineering assistance to internal teams or external customers on existing projects
• Use knowledge and skills in the engineering discipline
• Performs technical work that does not require previous experience
• Works independently, as well as with a team
• Complete summer end internship presentation
• Demonstrated the guiding principles of Aerostar
• May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed

What they're looking for:

• Minimum of 2 years towards a bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel is required
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, without close supervision
• Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality
• Capacity to be flexible and multitask
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff
• Hands on experience in manufacturing, testing, and/or lab settings are highly desired
• Familiarity with one or more of SolidWorks, Matlab, or Python desired
