Electrical Engineering Intern- Hiring Event with AECOM - New York City

AECOM is a global infrastructure consulting firm delivering professional services across transportation, buildings, water, energy, and environmental projects. The Electrical Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience through assigned duties and a broad learning experience in electrical or systems engineering while supporting the Transportation business line. The role requires regular attendance at the New York office for meetings and hybrid work in New York or New Jersey.

What you'll do:

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
• Ability to travel to AECOM New York office regularly for meetings

What they're looking for:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering,or related field with the intent to continue after the internship unless graduating
• Candidates must have completed two years of study in their program
• Ability to travel to AECOM New York office regularly for meetings
• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position
• This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in New York or New Jersey. The selected candidate must be available to work in New York or New Jersey on a scheduled basis
• Strong technical writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating system
