Electrical Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

Foth is a member-owned science and engineering consulting firm that provides engineering solutions to clients. The Electrical Engineering Intern will apply classroom knowledge to electrical design projects, develop drawings, program PLCs and HMI hardware, and assist with software and drawing database validation under the supervision of experienced engineers.

What you'll do:

• Apply electrical engineering fundamentals while performing design tasks under the supervision of a lead engineer
• Develop detailed electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical software packages
• Program PLC’s and HMI hardware
• Assist with validation of the software and drawing databases

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Previous experience with and/or coursework in AutoCAD
• Previous experience with and/or coursework involving theory and/or programming of industrial PLCs
