Electrical Engineering Internship - Facilities Design

E.K. Fox & Associates, Ltd. is an engineering firm focused on challenging design assignments, security, sustainability, and energy efficiency. The Electrical Engineering Intern will support the design and specification of electrical systems for commercial and government clients while gaining exposure to architectural design processes, engineering projects, and industry technology.

What you'll do:

• Experience a thorough orientation to all aspects of the company
• Gain an opportunity to do what you do best everyday
• Be exposed to some of the most challenging engineering design efforts, locally and globally
• Utilize some of the latest technology in the industry
• Have a life outside the office
• Be proactive and learning about and supporting the design and specification of Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, and Telecommunications systems for commercial and government clients
• Intrigued by the Architectural Design process and want to spend the summer better understanding it

What they're looking for:

• Successfully enrolled in a Bachelor's of Science Engineering program
• Be-open minded and a problem-solver
• Have moderate and above fluency with design software such as AutoCad
