About this role
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is a design and environmental engineering firm supporting industrial and manufacturing projects. The Electrical Engineering Intern will support project teams by developing 3D design models and performing calculations, specifications, sketches, and drawings while coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines. The internship also provides mentorship, workshops, practical experience, and opportunities to collaborate across functional groups.
What you'll do:
- Perform engineering tasks that will help develop your engineering skillset while supporting our project teams on a variety of industrial and manufacturing facility projects
- Developing 3D design models
- Performing various tasks such as discipline calculations, specifications, sketches, and drawings
- Work and coordinate with various disciplines including Electrical, Architectural, Civil, and Geotechnical
- Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses
- Learn from industry experts
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams across functional groups and locations
- Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities
- Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges
- Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time careers
What they're looking for:
- Current enrollment in an electrical engieering undergraduate program
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the U.S. without sponsorship
- AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred
- Prior internship and/or related experience preferred
- Local candidates preferred
