Electrical Engineering Summer Internship 2027

CenterPoint Energy is a utility company committed to safely and reliably delivering electricity and natural gas. The Electrical Engineering Summer Intern will support engineering teams across Houston Electric Operations by assisting with operational projects, maintaining project-tracking databases and spreadsheets, and compiling completion data for stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Assist engineers with diverse projects across multiple operational areas
• Maintain and update Access databases and Excel spreadsheets to track project status
• Compile and deliver project completion data to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• No expereience required
• Must have a valid/current drivers license
