Duties

You will install, repair and test new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems and breakers.,You will troubleshoot problems for defective equipment and faulty wiring.,You will use and maintain various types of hand and or power tools like screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, soldering irons.,You will conduct test and perform visual inspections on Ordinance Grounding Systems.,You will test and maintain gasoline and diesel generators for proper electrical output.

Other Information

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position requires the ability to discern colors, contrast and depth. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. The normal tour of duty for this position is 2nd shift 15:00to 23:30 to include weekends and/or holidays. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. Shift work may be required. No PCS costs will be paid. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
