## The Role:
As an Electrical Engineering Co-op, you will contribute to the design, testing, and support of electrical systems that enable warehouse automation and customer operations. During this experience, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop practical engineering skills while supporting projects that directly impact the performance, reliability, and safety of automation solutions.
This role provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world engineering environment while gaining hands-on experience with electrical design, controls, automation technologies, and product development.
## Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
- Support the creation and maintenance of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
- Participate in prototype builds, laboratory testing, and validation activities.
- Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical and electromechanical systems.
- Support system integration efforts involving electrical, software, and mechanical components.
- Collect, analyze, and document test results to support engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, manufacturing, and field engineering.
- Participate in engineering reviews, project meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow established engineering processes, standards, and safety practices.
- Document technical findings, designs, and test procedures.
## Key Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Completed coursework in circuits, electronics, power systems, control systems, or related subjects.
- Fundamental understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with reading electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Exposure to laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must not require visa support to work in the USA
