Job Description:
The Role
As Email Developer, you will work as an integral member of the Message Execution Center team to develop, support, maintain, and distribute electronic communications to employers, prospects, and benefit plan participants on behalf of Fidelity’s Workplace Investing (WI) business unit. This individual is responsible for working with business partners to understand objectives, developing and deploying content in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and ensuring the timely, accurate delivery of marketing, service, and regulatory communications to WI customers.
• Developing and maintaining dynamic email content, microsites, and SMS in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Performing quality assurance to ensure flawless delivery, including peer and team design reviews
• Contributing to content development process improvements to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Testing and optimizing email content for deliverability and rendering using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Litmus
• Escalating issues related to scope, schedule, and quality

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and AMPscript
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio

The Team
The Message Execution Center delivers customer messaging for the Communications and Education organization within the Fidelity’s Workplace Investing (WI) business unit. Our team provides targeting, distribution, and support services with annual volumes of 900 million emails and 30 million direct mail pieces. We collaborate with internal message sponsors and communication technology teams to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of marketing, service, and regulatory communications. Our mission is to consistently deliver high quality communications to drive positive customer experiences, while maintaining service excellence.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
