Embedded Engineering Summer Intern 2027

Stanley Black & Decker is a global tools and technology company seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Intern to support its Tool & Outdoor team. The intern will assist with embedded software development, software testing, technical issue analysis, design modifications, and low-level embedded C programming in a cross-functional environment.

What you'll do:

• Assists with the development of software for electrically powered equipment
• Assists senior engineers by developing tests for software components
• Analyzes software problems with test equipment and analysis tools to determine root cause of technical issues
• Assists research and other engineering personnel to prepare design modifications as required
• Assists with the development of embedded software for electrically powered equipment
• Interested in low-level/bare-metal embedded C programming
