Embedded Firmware Engineer

Enflite, LLC is an aerospace company specializing in aircraft cabin mechanisms and galley appliances. The Firmware Engineer will design, develop, integrate, and test embedded firmware for VIP aircraft interior products while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll do:

• Contribute to the design and development of embedded firmware for aircraft interior products
• Develop and maintain C/C++ software for microcontroller-based systems
• Support integration of firmware with electrical and mechanical assemblies
• Implement communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, RS485, and CAN
• Assist in verification, environmental, lifecycle, and compliance testing
• Create and maintain software documentation, test procedures, and test reports
• Troubleshoot firmware and hardware issues during development and production
• Support manufacturing teams with programming, testing, and production issues
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development processes
• Support customer/vendor interactions through phone calls or face-to-face meetings

• Basic knowledge of:
• Embedded C/C++ programming
• Microcontrollers and embedded systems
• Digital communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN)
• Electrical schematics and component datasheets
• Electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
