About this role
Astranis Space Technologies builds advanced satellites for high orbits, aiming to expand humanity’s reach into the solar system. They are seeking an Embedded Software Developer Intern to work with the engineering team on designing, writing, and testing software for satellites and ground control systems.
What you'll do:
- Work with the engineering team to design, write and test software (software running on satellites, ground control and testing software)
- Develop Software to manage the performance of the satellite from the Ground Stations
What they're looking for:
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Aerospace or equivalent technical degree
- Experience with C++, Python and scripting language(s)
- Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, Or Refugee/Asylee Status Required
- Experience with RF and Signal processing
- Experience with real time operating systems
