## About the Role As an Embedded Software Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience developing software and firmware for embedded systems that power real-world applications. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to software design, implementation, testing, and debugging while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient embedded solutions. ## Key Responsibilities - Assist in developing, testing, and debugging embedded software and firmware for hardware-based systems. - Support the integration of software and hardware components to ensure system functionality and performance. - Contribute to the development of automation tools, test frameworks, and software utilities. - Participate in system validation, data collection, and performance analysis activities. - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. - Document software designs, test results, and technical findings. ## Must Have Skills - Basic knowledge of embedded systems, software development, and computer engineering principles. - Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or similar languages. - Understanding of software debugging, testing, and problem-solving techniques. - Knowledge of version control tools such as Git or similar platforms. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. - Eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and development methodologies. ## Preferred Education and Experience - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Familiarity with embedded operating systems, real-time systems (RTOS), or embedded Linux environments. - Exposure to software build systems, scripting, or automation tools. - Experience with engineering projects, coursework, or research involving embedded software, firmware, hardware-software integration, or system validation. - Knowledge of digital signal processing, communication protocols, or embedded hardware concepts is a plus.
