Embedded Software Engineering Intern - The Toro Company

The Toro Company designs and manufactures equipment and solutions for turf maintenance, irrigation, landscaping, agriculture, construction, and residential use. The Embedded Software Engineering Intern will work with Commercial Products software engineering teams on projects involving product development and testing, internal development tools, and field data analysis.

What you'll do:

• Working directly with our project teams to develop and test our products
• Building/Supporting in-house tools for the development team
• Data analysis of collected field data

What they're looking for:

• Candidates must be available to start on May 17 and participate through the duration of the program
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• We require interns to be enrolled in an educational program during the duration of the internship program
• At a minimum, you must be entering your sophomore year of college
• Our best interns have strong communication skills, solve challenging problems, and a positive attitude
• Majoring in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science – focusing on embedded systems
• We prefer you to have a minimum 3.2 GPA
• Programming Experience in C or C# preferred
• Python, C++, Visual C programming, JSON, and experience with CAN bus protocol are all beneficial
