Patient Care Technician (PCT) – Emergency Room

Step into a fast-paced Emergency Room where every shift matters and every role makes a difference. As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you’ll work side-by-side with an RN and a collaborative care team to deliver hands-on support that directly impacts patient comfort, safety, and outcomes.

You’ll provide essential bedside care, assist with treatments and procedures, communicate important patient observations, and help ensure each patient receives safe, respectful, and age-appropriate care. This is a highly active role where your attention, compassion, and teamwork truly count.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED (must be 18+)
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to patient rights and quality care

Required Training & Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 6 months of hire
• Basic Dysrhythmia Class – within 6 months of hire
• Completion of PCT training, ED orientation, and hospital competencies
