The people here at Apple don't just build products. They build the kind of wonder that's revolutionized entire industries. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that fuels the innovation running through everything we do, from groundbreaking technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Apple's Legal organization safeguards that innovation and the culture behind it, and our Labor & Employment Law team sits at the center of how Apple treats its people worldwide. We're looking for an employment attorney to join this team and provide practical, day-to-day legal support on the issues that matter most to a global workforce.

You'll partner with Human Resources and business leaders on employee and labor relations matters, support internal investigations, and help apply employment law to real situations across a fast-moving, global business. You'll work alongside more senior counsel on litigation matters and administrative charges, and you'll build strong working relationships with HR and management as a responsive, reliable legal partner.

Key focus areas include:
Supporting HR and management on day-to-day employee relations issues
Assisting with workplace investigations under the guidance of senior counsel
Helping manage outside counsel on litigation and agency charges
Contributing to legal training for HR and management teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience in labor and employment law
  • Solid working knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations (including ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, etc.)
  • JD or equivalent degree, with admission to at least one US state bar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal audiences
  • Strong client relationship skills and a collaborative approach to working with HR and management
  • Prior experience supporting management or HR teams directly
  • Comfort working through ambiguous situations without established precedent
  • A sense of humor and an unwavering commitment to professionalism
