As an **employment litigation paralegal** within the Corporate Litigation and Employment Practice Group, you will serve as a critical partner to attorneys and legal professionals in the Employment Law Group (ELG). The responsibilities include working closely with ELG attorneys, HR partners, and outside counsel to help manage a wide range of employment-related legal matters. These include federal and state court litigation, arbitration, and charges filed with administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor. Additionally, this role may involve assisting with compliance initiatives related to employment law.

**Minimum qualifications**

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 4 years paralegal-level work experience
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher or a Paralegal certificate and a minimum of 2 years related work experience in a legal environment

**Preferred skills**

  • Proven expertise with all aspects of employment litigation support, including legal process, terminology, discovery, and research tools
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment agencies, their associated procedures as they relate to private employers and hands-on experience drafting agency responses under attorney supervision
  • Demonstrated proficiency with electronic discovery and case management systems (i.e. Legal Tracker) and legal hold software (i.e. Exterro or Relativity)
  • Proven ability to lead the collection, analysis, and coordination of data and legal materials, manage discovery tasks across multiple cases, and prioritize dynamic workloads in high-pressure environments
  • Strong research skills with the ability to thoroughly analyze legal documents and regulations

**Compensation**

  • Associate level: $42.88-$47.12/hour
  • Senior level: $51.80 - $56.92/hour
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
  • Bonus of up to $3,500 payable after 90 calendar days of actively being employed at Progressive
