Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Current Pennsylvania EMT-Basic certification
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Current BLS card
- Emergency Vehicle Operator (EMSVO) certificate
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including lifting and moving patients
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and remain calm in high-stress situations
Clearances must be dated within 90 days:
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior EMS experience
- Familiarity with electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) systems
- Interest in mentorship, education, or service development initiatives
