Eng Structures - Engineer (SEA)

HOK is a collective of future-forward thinkers and designers dedicated to improving people's lives and healing the planet. The Engineering Structures Engineer will be part of a team responsible for engineering analysis and design on projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for engineering analysis of projects under the supervision of a Project Engineer
• Participate as a team member, contributing ideas and possible solutions
• Visit project sites during construction for reviews of quality, progress, and compliance with specifications and standards
• Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of the projects to budget
• Seeks input from more senior staff on technical matters to improve the overall project
• Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor of Science in engineering degree
• Licensed PE if MEP Engineer
• Licensed SE if Structural Engineer in states with SE license, PE or CE / PE in other states
• One year project engineering experience on building engineering projects in a particular discipline
• Experience in working in integrated teams
• Experience with analysis tools and energy modeling for mechanical design
• Experience with analysis tools and energy modeling for electrical design
• Experience with complex analysis tools for structural design
• Experience in the design of structural systems for small complex buildings
• Master's degree preferred
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred
• Three years' experience preferred
