Engineer - Propulsion System Diagnostic Software Validation

## Duties - Develop diagnostic software validation test cases at the system, subsystem, and component level for each propulsion system module (ECU) across the vehicle architecture. - Work closely with Software, Electrical, and Propulsion teams on the integration of multiple control units on the test properties. - Collaborate with Software, Electrical, and Propulsion teams to develop DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, and test properties validation plans. - Write detailed test specifications and test scripts based on system and component requirements. - Generate a testing plan that achieves targets at various milestones. - Develop automation of DTC test cases and UDS services. - Use LIN, CANoe, CANalyzer, ALM, Git, Jira, Linux, C, C++, and Python to perform duties. - Analyze and visualize large data sets from various data sources to understand use cases and validation criteria. - Communicate analysis results and tradeoffs technically. - Perform root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and escalation of risks to keep the software development process on track. - Identify opportunities for automation and develop and implement processes to improve efficiency. - Participate in Agile software development processes. ## Minimum Qualifications - Education: Master's Degree in Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field of study (equivalent foreign degree accepted). - Experience: One (1) year in the position above, as a Software Engineer – Controls, System Engineer, Systems Validation Engineer, Test Design Engineer, or in a related occupation. - Other Requirements: One (1) year of use of all of the following: LIN, CANoe, CANalyzer, ALM, Git, Jira, Linux, C, C++, and Python.Any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience will also be accepted.
