As a Senior Software Engineer on the Partner Technology team, you will design and build web and mobile applications used by Starbucks partners to support store readiness and day-to-day store experiences. You will provide technical leadership across engineering, product, design, and quality assurance to deliver accessible, reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

•  Build, iterate, and enhance web and mobile applications that support Starbucks partners’ store readiness and day-to-day store experiences.

•  Design and deliver reliable, maintainable, scalable, secure, and accessible experiences using modern web and mobile technologies.

•  Lead technical design for complex features and help evolve application architecture, engineering standards, and reusable patterns across web and mobile platforms.

•  Design resilient integrations between client applications, GraphQL APIs, REST APIs, and backend services.

•  Drive improvements in application quality, automated testing, performance, reliability, accessibility, security, and observability.

•  Lead and contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and collaborative code reviews.

•  Partner across product, design, backend engineering, quality assurance, operations, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

•  Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on complex engineering problems, implementation choices, and technical trade-offs.

•  Help evolve the team’s use of AI-assisted development tools and agents while maintaining standards for quality, testing, security, accessibility, and maintainability.

•  Contribute to the technical vision and strategy for Partner Technology, including the long-term health of web and mobile applications.
