About this role
Nefab Group is on a growth journey, and they are seeking an Engineering Intern to support their engineering team in Newark, CA. The intern will gain knowledge in packaging design, assist with design and testing processes, and support R&D initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Participate in on-the-job training
- Weekly progress update with Engineering
- Conducting research and assisting Engineering
- Learn Nefab Design Processes and Engineering Tools
- Learn design aspects of Nefab core products, as applicable
- Operate Test Lab equipment
- Support R&D for new material and/or new concept development
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor degree or higher in mechanical engineering, Industrial design, packaging technology or similar engineering background in progress
- Knowledge of 3d/2d software (IronCad/Solid Works, AutoCad/Artios)
- English language proficiency
- Hands on
- Energetic

- Open minded, ready to try new things
- Resourceful in problem solving
- Able to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications
