Engineering Intern - Electrical & Mechanical

Komatsu develops technologies, equipment, and services for construction, mining, forklift, industrial, and forestry markets. The Engineering Intern will participate in a structured 12-week program involving design, analysis, testing, and systems engineering while working with experienced engineers on real projects.

What you'll do:

• The Engineering Internship Program offers a variety of opportunities related to design, analysis, test, and systems engineering. As an intern, you will shadow and work with experienced engineers on real projects, gaining valuable work experience

What they're looking for:

• Education: Actively enrolled in an Engineering Program from a 4-year accredited college/university
• Must be able to apply their academic background to real business world experiences
• Soft Skills: Must have Excellent written and verbal communications
• Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and easily adapt to new challenges and business working environment
• Strong motivation to make contributions to Komatsu and strong motivation to drive results
• PC Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically with Excel (Pivot Tables), Power Point (slide presentations) and other summary and analysis tools
• Must demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Travel: Some travel may be required
• Experience: Prior experience with work study programs, school or volunteer leadership roles, participated on teams or in clubs, professional organizations, etc. preferred
