Engineering Intern - Wallingford

AMETEK hires Engineering Interns to build technical expertise through assignments across a variety of business applications. The intern collaborates with team members, customers, and suppliers to solve business problems and gains experience with product and process design, operational improvement, and cross-functional projects.

What you'll do:

• Throughout your assignments, you’ll collaborate with team members, customers, and suppliers to solve business problems
• Design new, and evaluate existing products, processes, and/or systems
• Participate in operational process improvement initiatives that impact key performance indicators
• Work on cross functional project teams with colleagues in Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Operations

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in the engineering function
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Related work or internship experience and results oriented through initiative, ownership, and accountability
• Applicants must have unrestricted US work authorization (forms of CPT and  PT are restricted work authorization)
