As proficiency increases, the individual would gradually assume technician duties under appropriate supervision. ## Responsibilities The technician would be responsible for: - Assembling and building cables and mechanical prototypes - Soldering components onto custom PCBs - Organizing laboratory spaces and work areas - Maintaining and improving inventory tracking - Assisting with calibration tracking and equipment management - Supporting equipment evaluation, maintenance, and repair efforts ## Pay and Schedule The position is full-time and will last through Dec 31, 2027. The pay is $35/hr. Opportunities to extend the contract or to convert the contractor to a salaried employee will be explored at the end of the contract. Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
