Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinates and oversees the managed care enrollment process, ensuring accurate and timely enrollment of members into managed care plans.
- Communicates with internal teams, such as sales, customer service, and claims, to gather and validate member data, resolve enrollment-related issues, and provide guidance on enrollment matters.
- Collaborates with enrollment coordinators, providing leadership and training to ensure efficient and accurate enrollment processes.
- Monitors enrollment data and metrics, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance data accuracy and streamline enrollment workflows.
- Liaises with managed care organizations, insurance carriers, and government agencies to verify and validate enrollment information, ensuring accurate enrollment status and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Responds to member inquiries and concerns regarding enrollment, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Communicates with IT and data management teams to maintain enrollment systems and databases, ensuring data integrity, system functionality, and process automation where applicable.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all managed care enrollment activities, maintaining adherence to relevant guidelines and protocols.
- Stays informed about industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in managed care enrollment, incorporating relevant knowledge into operational strategies and processes.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a long-term care pharmacy setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-driven, able to be independent and adaptable.
- Strong collaborative and team-oriented nature.
- Certified Managed Care Professional (CMCP).
Education
- High school diploma or GED.
Omnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional care settings. Following the sale of Omnicare by CVS Health, this role will support Omnicare and its continued operations as an independent, standalone organization. Candidates should be aware that this role will not remain within CVS Health following the transaction. The individual hired into this role will be employed by Omnicare and will contribute to shaping the future of our organization during this exciting period of growth and transformation.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $93,574.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
