Enterprise Analytics Intern - Summer 2027 - Campus Recruiting

Hormel Foods is a global branded food company seeking an Enterprise Analytics Intern to support business teams through data-driven insights. The intern will analyze category, consumer, customer, and sales data; create dashboards and reports; collaborate with cross-functional teams; and present recommendations that support enterprise growth initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Analyze category, consumer, customer, and sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and business risks
• Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports using enterprise analytics tools
• Support enterprise analytical initiatives through market, consumer, and competitive analysis
• Assist in developing recommendations that improve business performance, market share, and customer outcomes
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer key business questions from stakeholders
• Translate complex data findings into clear and compelling presentations for business partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, and Insights
• Monitor category and industry trends to provide actionable business recommendations
• Present project findings and recommendations to department leadership at the conclusion of the internship

What they're looking for:

• Must graduate between August 2027, December 2027, May 2028  with a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Professional Selling, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools
• Possess knowledge of syndicated data, spreadsheets, databases, and category management tools.  Experience with PowerBI and Tableau or similar analytical tools would be beneficial
• Experience working with large datasets and presenting findings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Interest in consumer-packaged goods, retail analytics, category management, or business intelligence preferred
