Pay Rate: $70,000-$80,000
Quarterly Bonus: $2,500
Location: Remote (Colorado)/Travel based
The Entertainment Expansion Equipment Manager leads the planning, deployment, installation, and maintenance of entertainment equipment for Wedgewood Weddings' expanding Entertainment Department. This role ensures every new venue launches with reliable, professional sound systems that are fully installed, tested, and event-ready.
Working closely with Entertainment leadership and the Expansion Team, you'll oversee equipment logistics, inventory, installation standards, and operational readiness while leading the Expansion Equipment Coordinators. You'll also develop scalable systems and processes that support continued growth as new markets open across the country.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, building efficient systems, leading projects, and traveling to support new venue launches. Extensive travel (approximately 60–80%) is an essential part of this position.
What You'll Do
Equipment Deployment & Market Launches
- Lead entertainment equipment deployment for new market launches and venue openings.
- Coordinate the installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of permanent sound systems and entertainment equipment.
- Ensure all venues are fully operational before launch.
- Develop equipment deployment schedules that align with expansion timelines.
- Coordinate equipment shipping, transportation, and installation logistics.
Equipment Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and support the Expansion Equipment Coordinators.
- Assign responsibilities and oversee installation projects.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
- Foster a culture of accountability, organization, and continuous improvement.
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Oversee equipment inventory, maintenance, testing, repairs, and replacement.
- Ensure equipment is properly organized, labeled, stored, and transported.
- Develop backup equipment strategies to support successful market launches.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain equipment-related standard operating procedures.
- Standardize installation processes across all expansion markets.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Participate in expansion planning and leadership meetings.
- Partner with Entertainment and Regional Leadership to ensure new markets transition smoothly.
- Provide updates on equipment readiness, project timelines, and logistical needs.
- Occasionally DJ events to support new market launches or operational needs.
Travel
Travel is a significant part of this role, with approximately 60–80% travel expected. You'll travel nationwide to support venue openings, sound system installations, equipment deployment, troubleshooting, leadership meetings, and other expansion initiatives.
