Entry-Level Data Scientist

Amida Technology Solutions is seeking an Entry-Level Data Scientist to apply academic training to real-world projects and develop skills with experienced mentors. The role supports advanced data management and decision systems through graph algorithms, large-scale data pipelines, database work, and technical documentation.

What you'll do:

• Design, implement, and optimize graph algorithms and data structures for applications in decision support, classification
• Supervise, help create, and implement algorithms for encoding and embedding, clustering, outlier detection, community detection, and dimensionality reduction
• Build distributed training pipelines that can handle large graphs (100 M+ graph element)
• Design and write queries, stored procedures for data loading, migration from existing databases, and retrieval
• Contribute to white papers and technical documentation

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or engineering
• Demonstrated passion for data science and eagerness to learn new techniques and technologies
• Working knowledge of Python

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
• Familiarity with graph libraries and frameworks, and machine learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch Geometric, DGL, GDS)
• Libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib
• Azure Databricks
