They are seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to work on projects related to industrial and manufacturing facilities, ensuring technical quality and adherence to client expectations.
What you'll do:
- You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule
- You can expect your work to include production of single lines diagrams, electric room layouts, wiring methods such as conduit and cable tray design, cable schedules, ductbank designs, installation details; grounding, lighting, receptacles, and power plans; motor lists and load summaries to help in the design of power systems
- You will be guided and mentored as you learn how to size and select cables, over current devices, transformers, and other equipment
- You’ll also contribute to more complex portions of the design process, interacting directly with the other disciplines for the overall planning of a project from concept through construction and into commissioning
- You and your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents for state-of-the-art manufacturing processes
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Visa Sponsorship now or in the future is not available for this role
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and desire to contribute/collaborate
- Passion for buildings and construction
